Once again RIVALS played in Las Vegas and once again they blew the roof off the place! This time they were on the undercard with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and openers Minor Rockstar and Our Finest Hour. Having seen Rivals twice this year so far, I believe next time they return they should be headlining, and I am sure the packed Backstage Bar & Billiards agreed. The crowd was really into this band, and surged towards the stage to get closer as highly talented singer Kalie Wolfe jumped around and worked the stage non stop as the rest of the band pounded out song after song. Kalie is an emotional singer who you can tell sings from life experiences, and she is one of those rare singers who actually connects with her audience in a deeply personal way. Along with Katie, the band consists of Sebastian Chamberlain on Bass, Micket Woodle on Guitar and Josh Alves on Drums, each one of these guys are very talented and are all over the stage just like Kalie. like all great bands their CD Damned Soul is really good but their live performances is where this band is at, they excels at live shows and seem to get better and better each time they play Vegas. Expect big things from the band RIVALS - we look forward to their return to Vegas.
