A band that has quickly turned into one of our favs, THE VEER UNION returned to Vegas September 18th, and this time it performed at the Backstage, Bar & Billiards venue. The Veer Union is a band that gives you 100% at each and every show, and are glad to just be playing music for the fans - just to get to their first stop on this fall tour they said they had to drive 60 hours!
Kicking things off was MASTIV, one of the top bands playing Vegas currently, and once again proved they are a force to be reckoned with. This band just gets better and better, and without a doubt has one of the best guitar players in all of Vegas, and has great crowd support. Mastiv's sound is like a jackhammer pounding in your head, it’s mean, brutal and relentless, and that's what makes them a local favorite!
Next was BRAVO DELTA, another great local band who returned to Triple B’s for another outstanding performance. This band also sports one of the top guitar players in Vegas, with Andy Ingraham on guitar who shreds with the best of them. Lead singer Brandon Davis has one of the best voices I know of in a local band, and combined with Brian on drums and Roman on bass makes them one of the top bands you see playing the local circuit today.
ONCE AROUND out of Los Angeles was an interesting three piece outfit, and had a surprising amount of intensity onstage, even though the crowd was a bit slow in responding to them after two local acts, but they gained some new fans. The industrial hard rock band is touring in support of their new EP with hit single "Leaving Home", and will be on the road with The Veer Union until the end of October.
The VEER UNION hail from Canada and play music for all the right reasons - because THEY LOVE TOO! The band is still trying to build a base here in Vegas, and really seem to love playing here. Lead singer Crispin Earl really connects with the fans and build a personal relationship with each crowd - he comes off as sincere and the audience feels that. The band is solid, their sound is tight, and this is a seasoned band who plays rock n roll because it is in their blood. The Veer Union is touring in support of their new album DECADE II: Rock & Acoustic which features a cover from one of their favorite bands, Linkin Park’s "Numb", and a song they performed live in Vegas for the show. The Veer Union is a true to the heart, rock n roll band and made for a great finale to a solid line up at BB&B.
