Paralandra Make an Impact at the HOB on tour with "Ascension"

Paralandra is a hard hitting rock group from Springfield, Missouri, led by Casandra Carson, who made a powerful impact with their live show at House of Blues in support of Yngwie Malmsteen on his recent tour. You an see similarities in Casandra’s strong voice and style to the likes of Lzzy Hale and Evanescense, and she knows how to belt out rock n' roll and take charge of a stage! The crowd at HOB gave her a rousing welcome, and the band made new fans as they powered though their opening set.

Paralandra is a four piece that features Casandra on vocals and guitar, her Dad Paul Carson on guitar, Nick Gray on drums, and Sawyer Rikard on bass, and the band shies away from genre labels - they just come to rock your face off. The mix of Carson and Carson shredding on guitar, with the backline of Gray and Rickard, make for a charismatic and confident line up, and Paralandra knocked out a set that included songs from their newest cd Ascension.

Paralandra formed in 2013, and their first CD, Rise Up, was released in 2014 with high demand at live performances. They released a second CD after bassist Rickard joined the band in 2016, entitled All Fall Down, which debuted and hit #1 on the Billboard Hotseekers chart. Their newest CD Ascension was releases last fall on Legend Records, and they are looking forward to bringing it across country, continuing with this support slot for Yngwie on tour until mid June.
