August Burns Red celebrated 20 years with an anniversary tour that included Sin City, and brought along The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within.
For Scottish band Bleed From Within, this was their first US tour and a perfect addition to the lineup for this ABR tour. The band is not new, they have been around since the mid 2000’s, but somehow never made it across the pond until now. Led by vocalist Scott Kennedy, the band was a lightening bolt of energy to get the show started and quickly connected to the audience. Their set was relatively short but mighty, ending with Kennedy in and on top of the crowd for their final song.
The Devil Wears Prada continued the metalcore groove with a 10 song set that leaned heavily on their most recent 2022 release Color Decay. March 16, 2023, the band released the sixth single from Decay, "Reaching", and a deluxe edition of the album released on May 5, 2023. TDWP is always a blur onstage, constantly a force of motion, and the intensity did not disappoint. The band wound up the set with “Sacrifice”, an early single from Color Decay.
August Burns Red Celebrates 20 years, and they came out fighting at House elf Blues and played a set that touched on all 9 prior albums, as well as “Backfire” from upcoming album Death Below, due out March 24 via SharpTone Records. ABR keeps the energy high through out the long set as always, and gave the fans a powerful show.
