The COLDER THAN HELL Vegas show was a work in progress - first it was scheduled at the now defunct SINWAVE music venue, which sent the promoter Pulsar Presents scrambling to find another venue, and then was booked at a venue that really doesn't do concerts but turned out to be a fantastic place to host this show. Then, unfortunately, Vampires Everywhere had a vehicle breakdown and would not make the date. Still, with all the work getting this show here, a decent crowd turned out and got to see two fantastic bands and the venue ROCKSTARS OF TOMORROW.
Kicking off the show was the band JULIAN-K, who has two founding members of Orgy, Ryan Shuck( vocalist / guitarist) & Amir Derakh ( guitarist / synth player). Since Vampires Everywhere were not playing, Ryan announced that they would be playing an extended set. This was also the last night of the tour, so everyone was hyped to end the tour on a high note. Julian-K is a high energy band, and they were on fire, coming out strong with "Futura" (DTA) Mix and had the crowd going crazy. Next they played one of my faves “All That Glitters”, and I had looked forward to hearing this live. I honestly can say I LOVE the drumming of newest member Galen Waling, as his style and sound are a perfect fit for this band. included "Fractured", and "Stronger Without You", and newer single "Static Whispers" off their new album DRK|MODE. As per usual, they closed out their set with the Orgy classic “Blue Monday”, with everyone dancing and singing along.

Next was PRIEST, a techno pop group who came all the way from Sweden, (featuring two former members of the band Ghost) and is made up of three musicians who go by the names - Mercury, Salt & Sulfur. The first time I saw Priest I was not overly impressed for some reason but this time around I totally LOVED the band's sound, and they put on a killer show.
Mercury (Linton Rubino) , who is the vocalist and driving force, has a fantastic sound and voice, and the band's synth sound is infectious - the crowd moving and dancing to the entire show. The band had a new album out in 2024 year, Dark Pulse, and played several songs from it including "Demon's Call" and "Burning Love". Check out more music from Priest on Spotify HERE.
I would have loved to see Vampires Everywhere play, but regardless, Julian-K and Priest together more than made up for the smaller lineup. Thank you to Pulsar Presents, and to Rockstars Of Tomorrow for hosting this show - we totally LOVED your venue and would love to see more shows here in the future.
