IDLES LOVE IS THE FING TOUR at Brookyn Bowl LV

British punks IDLES brought their insane LOVE IS THE FING TOUR 2024 to the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, along with Photomyrtyr, and just blew the place up. Really. Starting off slowly in near dark with the refrains of "IDEA 01", the pulse built through “Colossus”, until a bomb dropped with “Gift Horse” (off the new album Tangk) and the rest of the night was a frenzied

mass of frantic stage and a crowd of rolling bodies. Lee Kiernan jumping into the crowd and surfing while soloing on guitar, Mark Bowen in Sunday best riffing from the stage side, while vocalist Joe Talbot has the crowd screaming along. The energy level never let up during the incredible 24 SONG SET, the crowd dancing, surfing, and

singing all night, leading to a final of “Rottweiler” amid chaos and cheers, as a tired and triumphant crowd made their way to what was left of the merch.
