PSYCLON NINE : THE DEVILS TOUR MMXXV with SPECIAL GUESTS ANTANIA at THE DIVE BAR LAS VEGAS

PSYCLON NINE returned to Las Vegas at the Dive Bar with the Devils Tour MMXXV, along with ANTANIA, for a heavy extreme visual and industrial night. Psyclon Nine is by far my favorite black industrial metal band, and I was excited to see what the night would bring.

ANTANIA from Joshua Tree, opened the show, a duo is not for everybody - only the most hardcore extreme industrial fans will really get this act. They have a sound that is heavy "doom" bass, distortion, and evil screeching vocals from Kali Mortem, who onstage is a sight to see - she took to the stage dressed in all gothic black and a black mesh veil. The room shook to the brutal pounding bass, and the futuristic look and sound from Mortem, along with Dr Luna, wearing a devil looking mask with tall horns, made for a demonic assault on the senses. Halfway through their set Mortem removed the veil to reveal a bald head with a spiked headband in place, and as she sang into her chrome skull mic at times had similar vocalization to upcoming Psyclon Nine’s Nero Bellum. Antania totally held my attention their entire set, and I NEED to hear more. Listen to their song “God Complex" to get a taste of what this band is all about, but the real taste is in the intensity of their live show. Check out more on them at Linktree: Antania Official

Now it was time to see what devilish feats vocalist Nero Bellum and Psyclon Nine had in store for us on this tour. The band came right out of the gate with their newest single “Devils Work", a classic P9 aggrotech industrial sounding track from the upcoming album And Then Oblivion, due out from Metropolis Records on March 21.

The crowd started tentatively, Nero gave them some encouragement to get moving and start a pit - In this venue a pit can be hazardous, there are really no rules and once it started people were slamming into anybody and everybody who was near the stage area. It was really a wall of bodies and sound, a masterpeice of chaos. My favorites for the set were “Money and Sex and Death, "Crown of the Worm", as well as the new "I Choose Violence", also from the upcoming album.

The tour has wrapped for now, but you can check out more and preorder the digital record (and Vinyl options) HERE. A big shout out to the promoter Hardwire presents / Thad Barber for booking industrial goth shows - follow on IG for more shows HERE.
